Default Missing Injen Piece?

So i recently bought a Injen CAI from a member(no names) and i took it in to get it installed (i know i should have done it myself...dont ask) and the guy told me not only was it the old edition, which i was not made aware of at time of purchase( i guess not that big of a deal) but that it was also missing a metal adapter plate which is used to screw in the maf sensor. Sense i did not get instructions i was wondering if this could be possible that i need an adapter plate?
They are charging me 26 bucks for it. Do i really need it?
Any help i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks
Will

I think this is what they are saying you are missing...

if the part you are talking about is the one jason pointed out, then yeah you need it. otherwise you won't be able to hook it up to the MAF for one thing and you also won't have a place to hook up the vaccum tube. here is a link to something that might work, but you might have to do some fabrication.

BTW jason, I think your missing the inline filter from the pic of the complete injen CAI.

That thing... Hrmm... well, it goes between the crank case blow by and the bottom of the intake tube...

Personally I wouldnt run it... If there is anything inline with that system it wouldnt function properly and gunk will build up in your motor rather then be sucked out and burnt up...
