Default Fujitsubo Titanium vs Stainless Steel

I know this is a very stupid question but what is the difference between these 2?

I know one is made of titanium and one of stainless steel =P
I know one is more expensive than the other.
I assume the titanium is lighter.

Anything else?

Ti is like 2x the price of SS. Ti is like 1/2 the weight. The only difference between the 2 on the street are bragging rights, lighter weight, and a lighter wallet.

i dont know too much about this stuff...

But since its stainless steel it wont rust.... thus making it good for the life of the vehicle???

i know titanium is rust proof too... just wanted to make sure they sound the same and have the same performance... other than weight and price =P

I doubt Ti is HALF the weight of stainless. The Ti exhuast may sound a little different b/c of the diff. metal's resonance. Mostly you are paying all the extra cash, though b/c it will be somewhat lighter, so unless you're into doing everything possible to lighten your car, cost be damned, or you are big on bragging about your parts, just get the stainless (perfectly acceptable to brag on that one as well and it'll still be a little lighter than stock).

I think a full Ti exhaust would be louder, atleast from what I understand about it. It would also probably made of a thinner sheet of metal...further making it louder. The fujitsubo exhaust is quiet to begin with. Im sure the Ti would sound hawt!

Also SS is alot easier and cheaper to fix, rewelding etc... From the pics of the Fujitsubo, the Ti looks dull whereas the SS is shiny.

the ti is half the weight of the stainless....I know as I have had both on my own car

the ti is matte colored, the stainless is polished. The tips are also different

sound wise they are close..the ti being a bit more exotic sounding.

both are excellent units with flawless fit and finish
