I didn't realize this was made for the jdm spec z's. So now, the problem is that the muffler piping is touching pasenger side vap canister causing the whole muffler to be shifted to the left by about an inch. My installer told me that the canister needs to be removed which will turn on the cel but the car will still run. My question is what would happen to the car if i have the canister removed besides the cel? also, how big of a job is it to relocate the canister? cost?

Try doing a search. I remember reading about this exact same issue for the amuse. But in the end, your gonna have to remove the canister. I believe some got CEL's and some did not.
