True to a Point, I just don't see the value.

I mean they are just metal pipes..

My exhaust shop will weld up anything I want for $50-$80, If I supply the Mufflers, Cats and flanges, I am sure they could reproduce almost any exhaust for cheap.. My Volvo Club had a run of 3, 3" Cat back exhausts Made and Installed for $125 each Including Mufflers.

I guess its a country boy thing..

Diesel: Any idea why yours sounds A LOT different than the system on that black car I said sounded "buzzy"? Does he have non-resonated test pipes or something? Or is that what its going to sound like once its broken in?

I think he might have other mods which is making it sound more buzzy.

I doubt a muffler shop could reproduce anything remotely close to the quality and build construction of this exhaust. If they could I think it would have already been done.

Finally got mine, and installed last Friday. I am loving this exhaust more and more each day. The only thing I wish is that the tips came without the burnt blue color.

I will be dynoing as soon as my shop can fit me in. They seem to be really busy. But I have baseline dyno's so I will know for sure what kind of gain I get.

I ordered my HKS Exhaust the other day i can't wait to get it. I think it sounds great. For you guys that installed the exhaust yourself was it hard? and did you have and problems? or any hints to make it go alittle easier?
