Very nice numbers. I'd like to see what throwing cams on that Z and re-tuning would accomplish.

I have tomei 268's with a mild head job to be installed shortly. I may just throw them on before i build the motor to see what will happen.

Our prototype parts are pretty nice pieces 2.5 inch y pipe and full 3 inch all the way back. We typically like to make our exhaust very free flowing which almost always will result in a power making combination.

I will trying get some pics on the ride tomorrow.

Thanks,

Jermaine~

Excuse me, but doesn't the dyno say "flywheel hp"? Am I the only one to notice that or did I miss something?

300 whp would equal approx 350 hp at the flywheel/crank which is unreachable without cams, higher CR and good headwork.

in reguards to your exhaust, can we get some pics of it and some sound clips? Would you say your exhaust sound like stock like the nismo one? I've been looking for a replacement for my stock one and looking to purchase another exhuast besides the nismo one but still want the stock sound but amplified in my next exhuast.

The Dynopack will calculate a flywheel hp number if you use the TCF number. We never use the TCF to calculate flywheel hp. When you are using the TCF number you can make a dyno chart read almost anything you want it to.

My exhaust currently is extremely loud since i do not have cats and the headers really turn this thing into a pissed off animal.

So you are telling me you made 280 whp (at least 40hp over stock) with just these mods:

UTEC
Plenum
Prototype Intake
Prototype Exhaust 3 inch
Prototype Y-pipe 2.5 inch
Prototype Test Pipes 2.5 inch

And you made another 20 whp on top by adding:

GTSpec Short Headers

I must still miss something. What was the baseline dyno for this car?

The baseline for this car was in the 250's maybe 240's. I'll have to load the baseline up. Honestly who cares about the peak numbers, the gain is what I am talking about. I don't sell headers, I have no interests in bumping the output of them.

I am just showing you what the difference was on my vehicle, if you don't believe it that's fine with me.

Thanks,

Jermaine~

That's freakin sweet. I want to see some pics of the "prototype intake." These gains are impressive. Nice job!

When will more info be released about the intake and exhaust?

It is obvious that you are and probably will continue to in the future. Please contact Bee Ess Pee aka Jvanquish for more information.
