Default **Sound clip*** of my Custom Exhaust

CAUTION- NOT Work Safe (One curse word at the very end)

This is a short clip taken last night.

I was accelerating with medium throttle. The sound is fairly close to the sound in person. There is a different sound at greater throttle pressure. I hope to record some more sound/video clips soon.

Please right-click and Save As...

Exhaust clip

Enjoy! (I hope )

Lex,

Not really.

55mph in 6th gets a little drone, but only when you apply throttle. It's kinda hard to explain. But for the most part it is only slightly louder than stock cruising along. But it can be awoken very easily.

Hopefully, I can go out and do some more taping Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks for the comment.

Hey!
I know that road!

I love Austin.

articfury,

I can only say that I regret that this board limits me to giving you but one point at a time for that video.

If I had my way, you'd get thousands.

Track,

The road and small hills are great for taking photos, suck for golfing though

Thanks for the comment and point. Hopefully, you will get to hear it in person this weekend.

2003z,

Thanks for the compliment.

The new tranny is in, and I have the car back. Hopefully, more videos tomorrow.

Sounds good. I also prefer the true dual exhaust setup. I read your other thread with the pics of the system. Some were mentioning that you may have exhaust resistance or restricion due to the lack of mandrel bends. I figured that since you have what, 2.25 inch pipes for each manifold?, that it would offset the lack of mandrel bends. The way I figure it, you essentially have a 4.5 inch exhuast, since it's a true dual. There are alot of 400hp 4 cylinder turbo cars out there with 3 inch single exhausts so your dual setup should provide plenty of room for exhaust to flow as you continue your upgrades. Are you thinking of going to a turbo or SC?

Jeremy,

Read the thread linked in my second post.

joe,

That was pretty much what I was thinking, but I can't prove it. I may end up going with a turbo at some point. I will re-evaluate the exhaust then. I am doing more research on exhaust theory, too.

Thanks for the comments.
