APS is good. My choice of test pipe would be either APS or topspeed. I have topspeed with Borla now and no complain about it. I'll change my exhaust to HKS in a few weeks so i will find out how HKS + topspeed come out.

Decide if you want test pipes with or without hangers. That will eliminate half of those available. Avoid $99 test pipes on eBay.

From my experience, go with hangers. I learned the hard way with cracked TPs, Y-pipe and B pipe.
I had Megan resonated TP and they had a small piece of weld left over in them or something like it and rattled like crazy. They also didn't have hangers. It got quite expensive to fix it.

I have the kinetix resonated test pipes with my HKS exhaust. I love the sound, but I have a TT as well, and that changes the tone a little. Not sure how it sounds with the exhaust and test pipes on NA. I did have the kinetix resonated test pipes when I was NA without the exhaust, and I loved the sound. Didn't have any rasp.

test pipes will just let the exhaust pass straight through without any catalyst cleaning up the spent exhaust gases. HFC's still have the primary cats on so the exhaust gas will be cleaned out before exiting the exhaust. Usually if you have strict emissions laws(like we do in CA) HFC's is a good choice. If you don't care aboust emissions, then get test pipes. With TP's , you get the rasp and the smell but it wil make your exhaust sound louder. HFC's have no rasp or smell, but it's not as loud with the exhaust note( although its louder than the stock cats). Hope this helps.

From what I have experience with, APS has the nicest non resonated test pipes - Labree has the nicest resonated test pipes.
