AAM 3" Test Pipes - Product Release!
AAM, a national known manufacturer of innovative and exclusive products for the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35, is proud to introduce our newest exhaust upgrade for the 350Z and G35 with the Greddy Twin Turbo kit – the AAM Spec 3" MaxFlow Dual Downpipes. The AAM Spec 3" MaxFlow Dual Downpipes with Open Dumps are the ultimate path to optimizing your exhaust system and vehicle's power.

With a turbocharged vehicle power gains through exhaust flow is a basic concept - get the exhaust gases out as quickly as possible! The result is a noticeable power gain across the entire rpm range as well as the ability to support additional peak power.
The theory behind this principle is simple. Prior to the turbo a significant amount of pressure, heat, and velocity is present in the exhaust manifolds. This pressure is created by the overall volume of the exhaust gases being contained in a confined space. This pressure, heat, and velocity enters the nozzle area of the turbo which spins the turbo exducer blade (turbo wheel). Once the usable portion of the energy has been extracted to spin the turbo wheel it exits the back of the turbo into the exhaust. Because only so much volume can flow through the turbo at any given moment we must allow these spent gases to exit the turbo as quickly as possible so that additional gases trapped in the manifold can be used.

This is why the AAM Spec 3" MaxFlow Dual Downpipes will allow the turbo to spool faster, harder, and more efficiently – gaining new power. A secondary benefit from the additional exhaust flow after the turbo is lower engine temperature. Because we are evacuating the heat faster and with less resistance, there is less time for heat to build up.
The open dump system (not shown) included with the AAM Spec 3" MaxFlow Dual Downpipes allow the external wastegates to vent additional exhaust gas with zero restriction around the turbo. With a zero backpressure dump and quality electronic boost controller (we recommend the HKS EVC systems) the wastegates will be able to remain entirely closed until the last possible moment to prevent an overboost situation. This allows boost to come in earlier and faster then normal. Although open dumps are louder then a recirculated style dump they will actually remain almost 100% closed until the top of the boost setting (with electronic boost control). During idle, any driving in vacuum, and under most partial throttle conditions the vehicle is no louder then it would be with recirculated dumps. Once the wastegates do open up the sounds is amazing!
Aircraft quality polished T-304 16-Gauge Stainless Steel tubing is utilized for its strength, rigidity, and ability to handle the excess heat a turbo creates. All flanges are CNC cut to ensure the most accurate fit.

If you really want to make all the power your Greddy Twin Turbo Kit has the potentially for, with a stock or built motor, then these Downpipes are not an option they are a necessity.
Production volumes are EXTREMELY limited at this time. Place your pre-order now to be one of the first to receive this exclusive AAM Spec power producing product!

I can't wait to get her on the dyno this week and see how far we can push the stock engine
very nice product!!!
i might have to get a set myself. We made some for my car last fall but they are not as nice... we made them in a rush and then i never even used them. Those look very clean and quality.

Hey now, there is no need to go BLOWING anything in my car unless you are talking about cool clean air into the engine.... and hot gas out its backside...
I need that engine for at least another 3 months...
And yes, I am REALLY hoping for a good power bump from these, plus the larger overall exhaust and the new HKS parts... This way I can change my sig to 450+rwhp
