Default greddy evo2 or sp2?

which should i get and are they both something that would be easy enough to do on your own. I have also heard that they seem to rattle a little bit anyone think it would hurt to wrap the exhaust in exhaust tape.

SP2 is a no brainer install... it just replaces the rear muffler... 2 bolts and 3 hangers to squeeze in and out of...

The EVO2 thats another story... The exhaust is basic bolt on, except for the re-location of the fual evap canister... This is a $800 dollar mistake if you damage it while re-locating it (very easy) and techinally, since you are tampering with part of the emissions system, this is the only Cat Back exhaust for this car that is not 50state emissions legal!

No reason to wrap it in exhaust tape.. its full stainless... it should hold up to the rachacha weather / salt on the roads...

If you do the EVO-2 then I would...

THe install really isnt bad except for that evap canister...

There are alot of other exhausts available that have that similar style to it...

Like the HKS Hiper TI etc...

The Fuel Evap Canister has to do with the emissions system... it is located on the rear passanger side up under the rear behind the wheel well area...

It has to be relocated to the middle of the rear of the car where the stock muffler goes to make room for the 2 canisters...

it is the black box in the middle of this pic...

The install is not bad at all... everything is bolt on... the exhaust system comes with all necessary items for an easy install. The relocation of the EVAP canister is the most difficult part of the install, but with a little patience, it is still easy. I ended up purchasing some aditional heat shield sleeves to cover all three hoses that connect to the canister. Reason being, the hoses are really close to the pipes.
