the price will be lower on the 2.5" system, but the crossover and all the other advantages of the system will stay the same.
the resonators i am using actually expand to 3.5" through the centers of them. they don't turn to a smaller dia. like others through the resonators. the resonators will zap zero hp. no reason to remove or try to bypass with this design.

i am anxiously awaiting 350ZNV's dyno run with this exhaust. i didn't do a dyno run on mine because my other exhaust was so restictive, it would have been like a 120hp increase. mike had another dual exhaust on his car before the SVRTech 3". so the first couple runs against the old dyno sheet will tell the story on how the Xpipe and mufflers work in this design.
mike, maybe i could talk VRT into undoing the X pipe (after they finish the retune) so it runs just through the front 2 pipes. would be great to see an actual drop in hp and torque with out the X pipe and mufflers hooked up. this set up should make more hp and torque than straight pipes when all together.

You definately should either get a better quality compression of that video or a video taken with a better camera because it's pretty impossible to tell what it sounds like on that website. Also would be a lot better to do it on a dry day so you can actually rip it.

Not trying to sound rude, just trying to help out.

if you can get it to stop raining in oregon so i can make a better vid, i would love to, lol. honestly though, my boost is set pretty high, so unless i had a follow car or something, you won't ever be able to catch the true tone on video. i either spin the tires and hit the rev limit, or spin the tires and hit the rev limit, lol.

right now it wouldn't work. but we may make new front pipes to be able to bolt up to a testpipe section like that in the future. but would not be hard for an exhaust shop to modify it to work.

Well I dropped the ball on shooting the video. I brought my camera and camera mount, but no mini DVDs . Michael from VRT shot some video when he was following me in a TT G35 so hopefully you get some sound out of that. Sorry guys.

can't wait to see mikes vid!! i think me and mike might have come to a trade for his stillen unit. you should head back to VRT when we figure out when we will do the trade. i will put the s/c on the car there. will be sick to see how the car reacts!!!! lets see, 15psi turbos, 9 psi pully = 135psi, lol. think i will need to put the 5.5 springs back in the wastegates and run the s/c at stock boost. 5.5 psi turbos, 5.7 psi stillen= 31.3psi!!! think it should move quickly!
