A bunch of my car freak friends checked out the exhaust this afternoon. Conclusion: It sounds like a Nismo with more WOT howl. One guy likened it to a Ferrari V8. Cool!

hmmmz i think imma recommend this exhaust to a friend, but i think the tips need ot be cut, anyone agree with me on this? for some reason they just seem to be protruding way to much. i think like maybe 1-2 inches off each tip would make it perfect.

Mendy,
The sound clip on the manufacturer's site sounds very much like my car. However, The distance away from the exhaust tips that the recording is made would have a big effect on the volume level what you hear. That said, the sound quality is right on. Sorry, I don't have any way to provide my own sound clip.

On the questions of the length of the tips, I guess this is a matter of personal taste. I personally think that they look very cool, a little longer that stock, but not jutting out excessively. Certainly, a handy person could cut them back a little, even chop the off way back at the canister. The length of the pipe beyond the canister is 4 3/4 ". Any or all of it could be removed if you so choose. But for me (and maybe you too after seeing them in person) they are just right.
