Default HKS Exhaust

I just ordered the HKS exhaust and i was wondeing for all you that have it, has it discolored your rear bumper? Ive seen several white Zs that have brown/blackish discoloring right above the exhaust tips and thats not what i want happening to my Z

I have had it for about 2 months, and no discoloration at all. The blackened rear bumper may be caused from having HFC or test pipes along with the exhaust.

This has been discussed 2 or 3 times the past month or so

The tips are not welded or fully connected to the main exhaust (only connected by 2 screws), i havent fitted mine yet so i dont know for sure but i guess by how its designed that the tips would never reach tempratures high enough to cause any damage to the paint.

man i want the HKS exhaust baaaad but gotta wait...but hey fella'z between rim and exhaust which would you buy first...? i want look but i want boost as well

i would go rims first. well suspension very first. then after thoes two do exhaust. shrug thats what i did. no regrets!
