hey i am just wondering if I get my ecu reflashed why might i need e manage. Dont they do the same thing. Or does both give you a superrior tune.by the way can someone explane both so that i can be clear about the two>thanks

 

The E-manage or a TurboXS UTEC should give you a superior tune, because they will allow a tuner to work on YOUR specific car, in person. It seems like when people already have a reflash and then go UTEC, they usually pick up an additional 10-15 hp over the reflash tune. Search around, there are lots of threads about this.

 

I went with the eManage to get my A/F ratior corrected precisely to my car needs. It was installed easy and tuned right on the dyno run by run, exactly to my car setup. Any changes I take it in to re-tune.

The only other thing the flash could do for you is change timming and remove the speed limiter/rpm limiter, which I didn't feel like paying so many $$$ to do. And, if later you change your car, you have to reflash...

 

and it cost $150 to get it reflashed...
