Default MAF Sensitivity

I recently put in the older injen intake in as a short ram and did not have a 2nd bracket to hold th eintake in place. So under hard acceleration im sure the intake moves around. My question is how sensitive are our MAF's? I know on my previous car (2003 maxima) those things blew easily with aftermarket intake systems.

Photos would be helpful.

Does the tube rattle when driving? Do you think that you can fabricate some sort of simple bracket to hold the tube in place properly?

I used 2 zip ties that attached around the MAF tube and connected to the strut bar...this helped to keep it in place. (doesn't look the best, but works)
