I need some help guys. I'm trying to install the Motordyne plenum spacer but I need help with this. What is this "Teflon Putty" that the instructions calls to have. Is these some kind of paste tube, Can it be called differently. Thanks guys for your prompt response cause I'm in the middle of this.
I dont think ur gonna need putty. When i put my plenum mod on, i just used a gasket. Gasket sealants like teflon sealants would make a mess and probably gum up ur intake valves if you put too much on..
A simple gasket should be enough.

Go to your local parts dealership and pick up a 2nd gasket.
The teflon pipe thread putty is supposed to provide a seal at the coolant control valve (CCV) threads.
You essentially put a thin layer of the pipe thread putty on the brass barbed hose fitting threads and screw the fitting into the CCV. This will provide a leak proof seal.
You can find the teflon putty at a hardware store. The reason to use the "Teflon" variant of pipe thread putty is because it is designed to handle high water temperatures.
And the putty only goes on the two 1/8 NPT threads.

Thank you Tony (aka Hydrazine) for your professional reply. This was the kind of help I was looking for because I'm not very mechanic oriented. And to the other people that replied, peace guys, I'm just a newbie trying to learn.
I installed my 5/16 spacer last week.. Used the teflon putty around the CCV as well.. Install took a lot longer than i thought.. My fault though, really should have read the instructions very carefully. I was almost done twice, but then had to take apart again because 1) forgot to put the gasket and 2)had to take off the 4mm screws.. All in all.. great mod and definitely feels faster! Still have to put my strut on though, car is driving like shhht
