Missing Injen Pieces (Help Finding)
(Well, I'm learning my lesson not to buy used parts as they normally come with missing pieces and the install becomes difficult and drawn out)
Recently got the straight tip SES exhaust and unfortunately it was missing some hardware, most importantly the Cross Brace and new Grommet Hanger (not sure exactly what it's called, but the piece that attaches to the passenger side rear for the new rubber hanger). I was able to get some new gaskets in the meantime and bolts, so that's at least fine. But given the lack of the Cross Brace and Hanger, the passenger side piping is resting on and rattling against my sway bar
Now, I have no clue what could be retrofitted or used in its place for the Cross Brace. Anyone?
As for the Hanger, I'm thinking that I could perhaps just buy a factory hanger adapter thing (like the one on the driver's side rear) and attach it on the passenger side rear. Does that sound reasonable? I think it might be this piece, #11 in the pic, but I'm not sure.
And Injen says they're out of kits or something....that it would take months to get one.

You can find photos of the new hanger here: http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=1084.
You may end up having to fabricate something similar.
As far as the cross brace, I believe that you are talking about the brace embossed with Injen SES. Later, I can provide photos to give you an idea what it looks like and where it fits.

yeh, the cross brace is what you're referring to. just need to try and get one, or fabricate something.
but as far as the hanger goes, I actually just ordered that part #11 in that diagram. hope that will work. I know you can swap the factory one from side to side, but it'll just be a matter of whether the Injen hanger lines up correctly. we'll see, I guess

Here is a photo of the two hangers in the rear. I can’t recall if Injen uses the original hangers or provided additional ones.

And the Injen SES brace is a pretty thick piece of steel. You can see where it connects above. Best of luck on your project.
