Injen Intake Installed today

The install took about 3 hours. I removed the bumper using Skidazzle's remarkable pics and directions (the directions from injen suck). The bumper is easily removed in about 20 minutes by placing the front of the car on jack stands, removing the tires, removing the front part of the fender well and several bolts (see skidazzle's post on bumper removal for pics (i was gonna take some but it got dark on me). The hardest part of the install for me was the heat shield. It is very tight and deep in the engine bay which doesn't leave much room for a tool of any sort. After the shield was in place the rest of the install was relatively benign. I'll post pics of the finished product tomorrow.

It may pull a little harder in the upper rpms but it's hard to tell. The change in the exhaust note is very small. There is a cool hissing type sound when you step on the gas pretty hard; sort of like a turbo. Otherwise, it's not a good mod by itself. When added with other things like exhaust, cat pipe, headers, etc you can see substantial gains.
