Default Crawford Plenum Question

Before I start I just want everyone to know that I CAUSED THIS PROBLEM, it has nothing to do with the plenum

I read the last post but I have a whole other issue. I'm going to email Doug but wanted your opinions first. So I installed the plenumn today, which i purchased from another member, and once it was complete it whislted like a banchee. So retighted all the brass bolts and started it back up and it was fine. Then like the idiot, who over tightens everything, that i am decides to give another 1/2 turn and snap one of the two nuts on the side. The ones that come up through the bottom of the plenum and tightens with a nut. Well i snaped the shaft off. Its runs fine just wondering if you think this may cause a problem in the future and if so how to go about fixing it. Thanks guys.

just remove the stud and use a normal bolt in its place.
