Default Are Kinetix HFC`s new and improved?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there HAS been a redesign on the Kinetix`s to fix the breaks around the mounting bracket (or any other area). I see an add that says it`s ...

*New and Improved with more installation clearance and long term strength !

Let`s hear from the consumers... not the sellers.

Thanks!

I cannot tell the difference between the old and new catalytic converters. Is this just a marketing ploy? I installed them 5,000 miles (don't know if they were old or new and improved) ago. I like the quality of materials, fit and performance.

there are a lot of visual differnces between newer and older models. e.g., older ones have a mounting bracket, newer ones don't. also the depth of the color of them.
