Default HKS or the New Injen exhaust?

the new injen will be out in about a month. It appears to be promising.. HKS got the quality, but very expensive. what do you all think? guess the price tag of injen will be high 800 to low 900 vs 1300~1500 HKS

If you want a louder fartier exhaust go with the Injen since it doesn't have the baffles. If you want a deeper exotic sound go with the HKS.

I've heard about a billion sounds clips, and in person, of both.. .. , and I think Injen sounds heavier and deeper than HKS. I think I'll get the Injen and be one of the first guinea pigs.

If you have the choice, get the HKS, the only thing the two have in common is the looks.

If I were choosing an exhaust today I would buy almost anything but an Injen system. 2" od pipe, welded in restrictors to the back boxes, drone in the low RPM (maybe gone with the H pipe although probably just minimized). The Injen of the past sound deep below 3k but as you get them up in the 5k range they are weak and don't sound all that loud.

If the Injen was the only system on the market I would have kept my stock system, luckily, there are others to choose from.

Just got my HKS TI. Beleive me, go with the HKS. I had the same problem of debatign whether i should go with Injen or HKS. After i looked at the piping of HKS and Injen, i ended up with the HKS because of the larger piping and their quality. If you want a good exhuast, get it done right the first time and spend a bit more money because if you end up regreting the Injen, its going to cost you a lot more than HKS itself. So go with the HKS..
