Im trying to pick between the nismo or Injen exhaust. Which one is louder with normal driving? and which one is louder when you get on it? please help, Thanks so much! Andrew

 

I've been in a Z with the Injen and it was pretty loud. I have not heard the Nismo in person, however, but judging from what others have said about the Nismo, I would think Injen is louder. It also does not sound like a Z, but the Nismo does, except a bit meaner and louder.

 

I recommend that you

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration you want. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers. Y-pipe?
c. Shop for catback exhaust systems which meets your budget and selection criteria.
d. Pick your favorite.

 

im not a big fan of the canister looking exhaust, but for the price ive decided to purchase a TopSpeed Exhaust... didnt lose the stock tone, but its very loud.... i have testpipes, so when i get the exhaust installed, its gonna be really loud, but hopefully not as loud...

 

I like my Nismo exh., it's throaty but not to loud, and it is made by Nissan.
