Question K&N Typhoon Vs. Nismo Performance

hi~
i am planing to get a Air Intake System for my Z,and i am looking at Nismo Performance Air Intake System Vs. K&N Typhoon Air Intake System

wich one is the best?

cold-air intakes are not good on our cars (not much gains), so going with the typhoon (short ram), would be your best bet. Plus it looks a lot better.

I don't know which is best but the Typhoon is unique because the filter is inside the engine bay: very easy to remove and clean.

davidv, did you use the airboxes that came stock for your typhoon or did you get different airboxes? My 2008 touring 350 has two plastic boxes. what did you use? thanks!

^ Since you are bumping really old threads I"ll answer your question.....

The Typhoon does not use the OEM air boxes.
None of the aftermarket intakes use the OEM air boxes.
The stock setup on your 2008 is as good as it's going to get.


Buy 2 K&N drop in filters and call it a day.
