Default Installing Header - input

anybody installed headers by themselves? was it a nightmare? I dunno if I'd be able to reach without losing my mind. There barely any room.

Headers are a headache to install I understand there is not alot of room to work with but many have tackled the job before.

It will take you a full day by yourself the first time. I have done 4 sets now and have the process down to 7 hours by myself. If you need anything give me a ring!

canny, ur such a dumbass . Hes refering to when you used the OEM jack to do your oil change w/o jackstands and it gave in. Remember that thread? Darwin will get ya this time........

the thread is still around, but canny probably edited it.

+1. Make sure you have 100 mile tow coverage before you start.

The two front header bolts are not spaced adequately to allow wrench room! I am impressed by anyone who has properly installed more than one! Hire them to do it and save your frustration for something else.

Yeah it takes about 8 hrs to 7 hrs to install, make sure you check you linkage on your stearing linkage because you will have to take it apart, invest insome gear ratches also, you can pull the headders out from down under the car after you get them unbolted, its best also to work on the headers from under the car, some parts you will have to be above it though, it took 8 hrs to complete the DC headder install on my friends z, mines next and i dont look forward to it!
