Default MREV+ on motordyne is that the new MREV++?

I'm curious because the price went up $147. Or do I have to wait to order the new MREV++?

In the 10 page MREV+ thread Hydrazine mentioned that prices were going up on all their products. I also noticed that the 5/16" copper iso went up $30. I believe the MREV+ listed on the site is the MREV++, but they haven't updated the website to reflect the renaming.

Hydrazine said the MREV++ would cost quite a bit more then the MREV+. I dont think the MREV++ is up on the website yet. The MREV+ on the website is just that, the MREV+ with a higher price tag.

wassup with the increase?? it use to be 122. He promised me the MREV++ was only 122 also after 222 core refund. I hope it wont go up either

I oredered the MREV Plus for $122 plus core exchange ($222); but Tony told me he would ship the plus plus. I don't know what the difference is! I had it installed today. Will post dyno soon.

i'm starting to think the mrev+ is the one for the rev up engine tune and the ++ is for the non-revup engine tune

As for a name change, that is a good point. I may even have to reconfigure the MREV as a kit to keep things simplified. (The website is already complicated with too many options) Lots of variations has its good points but it also confuses many.

I may just make the Iso Thermal MREV++ a machined lower collector without a spacer. This way it will be a universal modification that can be bolted on to any 287 or 300 HP engine. --->Adding a spacer to it will make even more power.

At least it will reduce the number of MREV variations from 4 to 2. Now it will simply be Iso Thermal & Copper Iso Thermal. Adding a spacer can be done independantly and won't necessarily be tied to it in a kit. It sure will simplify things for both manufacturing and the purchasing consumer.

nizmoz, what does your butt dyno tell you about the MREV++? Can you feel the increased HP/TQ? Any sound differences? Thanks.

No. MREV+ is the original configuration of the lower plenum maching and the MREV++ has additional machining to make even more power.

The MREV-modified lower plenums can be used on either the 287 or 300hp motors, 6-speed or automatic.

Any news on the MREV++? What is the gain between + and ++?
The MREV+ on their website is now $446

Yea, I was thinking about getting the Mrev+ but now there's a Mrev++ ? So can someone tell us clearly what the difference is betweent he two? Is the Mrev+ for the Rev-up engines and the Mrev++ for the 287hp engines? Err...should I wait or should I get it? I have a Revup

Bottom line: MREV++ > MREV+

They work on both engines. The best combo to get is the MREV++, 5/8" spacer, and ISO-Thermal gasket.

Didnt tony say that the new spacers come WITH the thermal gasket applied??

well after looking at the site, the Mrev Plus+ costs $446, and the 5/16 spacer is up to $265. Could I just buy the Mrev Plus+, and then buy a 5/16 spacer from another company for substantially cheaper? would it work as good as the motordyne spacer while using the mrev?
