My buddy bought the headers and the turbonetics kit, put on the headers and found out the hard way they dont fit with the single turbo kit.
I love the sound and pull the set up gives. I already had the 3.9 gears in the final drive and the Nismo CAI so it pulled good down low but now it seems once the car hits 3k rpm its almost like a small turbo boost, it pulls harder right as it hits 3k and all through the power band.
Only neg is the smell... but unless you plan on spending alot of time sitting still or behind your own Z it shouldnt be too much of a problem.
Once again love the STRUP headers and test pipe combo, love it

Once headers and test pipes are installed (or long tube headers) is it necessary to tune? I ask because I would rather not be running lean since I am considering running a small shot of nitrous.
Edit:
I am currently running:
Intake, Y-pipe, Mid Pipe and Muffler, Test Pipes, UR Pulleys

you could tune and try to get better performance, wouldnt hurt it but the ECU is going to adjust to the new parts in about 500 miles of good driving, running it through the gears, putting in some highway and city miles. The Z runs very lean as it is stock, about 14.1-15.3 is about average A/F that I was hitting on my Z stock. If you could tune it out with the heads and pipes probably would want to keep it lower around 13's for N/A only. Dont want to run too rich with N/A mods only as you could start fouling plugs and getting partial detonation and wasting lots of fuel.

as far as headers, with the supercharger, im not a big fan at all, i would keep the stock manifolds and use high flow cats... the stock manifolds are great
for FI... IF you did headers, with the supercharger, i would do nismo or crawford... but, my personal choice, no headers and keep stock manifolds...
