Angry Im tired of Looking PLZ HELP! 06 NA Going into Modding

Alright here the deal im looking for a nice mod or 2 to do. Im looking to spend around 1000 with installation. I have Hks ti exhaust system and K&N typhoon intake.

Ive been researching the Motordyne and Skunk2 spacer and the strut bars and the mrev kit.

Alright I c u can go with a spacer but then the struct tower brace wont fit. I want the JIC polished or cf strut bar. What spacers will fit under that.
Should I buy the MREV kit or get a spacer. I see people talking about putting the spacer and the MREV kit but not making much power and its a waste or money.

Who has these mods already. The spacer and strut bar. Which ones make true power and which is not nessesary to buy. I want bang for the buck.

The old MREV kit was proven to always make power on RevUp engines. The Old MREV kit used to be a combination of a Non REvUp lower collector, and 5/16 spacer.

Where people are seeing bad gains with a RevUp engine is when the new MREV V2 is used with a Spacer. The new MREV V2 is not sold together with a 5/16 or 1/2 spacer anymore.

If i were you, i would find someone in the Marketplace with a Non Rev Up engine who will trade lower collectors with you. Then you buy a 5/16 spacer, and bam! There you go, you now have the old MREV Kit that has been proven to make great gains all the time.

^^ why would he get the spacer+mrev2 if the bad gains were seen on that combo?

also curious, waiting for more dynos on the revup engines.

My opinion since you have a revup motor, wait for more results of the MREV2 + 5/16" spacer before you buy anything. And the 5/16" spacer WILL WORK with the strut bar.

The only "bad" results I've seen are MREV 2 with NO spacer. And even then, you will make a ton of midrange torque but it will die fast and hard above 6k rpm.

I never told him to get a Spacer+MREV2, i suggested he swap lower collectors with a Non Rev Up engine, and also get a 5/16 spacer.

So basically im saying get the Spacer+287 lower collector, not the Spacer+MREV+, and not the Spacer+MREV2.

Remember the very first MREV was nothing more then a 287 lower collector + a spacer. So why pay for the 287 lower collector when you can probabley find someone who will trade you lower collectors.

are there any dynos with a stock 287 lower plenum on the revups? I woudlnt want to put a lower plenum that has the potential to restrict air flow, since the mrev2 is ported/machined ?
