Need Help CLeaning Nismo CAI!!
allright, im a complete noob at this, but can anybody give me some advice as to how to get to and remove the nismo's cai airfilter for cleaning. got it put on and never cleaned it, n its def due.first of all i tried removing the splash guard, since i dont have a jack to take the wheel off and get it from there. and id rather not take my front fender off. anybody have some input, cause im trying to get it done today. thanks

i got my nismo CAI filter out without a jack or taking the bumper off
cut the wheels HARD to the right as far as they will go. then pull back the black plastic fender liner mud guards. you will see two screws ,undo these and the driver side of the bumper will move foward a few inches. now you should be able to see the filter. take as screwdriver and undo the metal clamp around the top of the filter and wiggle it untill it comes off of the lower CAI tube,
now you should be able to pull the filter through the opening between the bumper and the black plastic fender liners. its a very tight fit but i got mine in and out this way. it saves alot of effort. took me 5 minutes tops
