Default Pics of K&N Aircharger Installed

Got the car about 2 months ago with this being my first performance mod. I had the K&N Aircharger on my last car ('01 Eclipse) and decided to follow suit even though I've read so much about other (cheaper) intakes. Anyway, the pics...

Impressions:

As with the past system I had, its a well built intake with good install instructions. The sound with this one is unbelievable. Once the car hits 4K the engine screams up to redline. Great on the ears if you like the loud sound.

The only thing I found difficult was trying to get the molding piece around one of the 90* corners. As you can see in the pics, I ended up just cutting it so there was no bend.

Thanks to Tony and the boys @ 4myride.com for getting it for me

Haha, if anything, the Popcharger is a K&N wannabe. Nothing against JWT, but K&N has been doing this for a while...

On a side note, I'd like a head-to-head comparison between this and the Typhoon. Anyone know if such a thing exists?

the K&N design is better for blocking engine heat...the head box actually works compared to a stamped piece of metal, this box encloses the filter
