Sup all, I have the invidia true dual exhaust and aps test pipes on my z. I like it, but it does have a kind of raspiness to it at times. I was thinking since it doesn't have resonators. So i was thinking of selling the aps test pipes and getting the resonated ones to see if it makes a difference. Think it will clear it up a bit? or has anyone used them yet?

UT-R resonated pipes are awesome I highly reccomend them, great service, great product, the welds are a work of art and they sound great, a little rasp but nothing compared to non-resoated and after about 10mins you get use to the difference in sound and embrace it. I love mine. Just my .02

 

^ do you have any sound clips with the TP on? I've got the injen straight tip and I'm looking at the UTR resonated tp's...do you think it'll be too loud?

 

No sound clips but I have NISMO Exhaust and use to run HFCs and its much louder than HFCs, also has more of that hollow throaty sound, not for the timid but once you get use to it you wont want to go back. Very agressive. My Y-pipe has a crack though so now it sound raspy but with out the broke Y pipe they sound awesome. But thats just my opinion. There is a website that someone posted at the other site with sound bites of different exhausts. If you find it, go to the JDM section and listen to the Fuji exhaust. Thats what the NISMO sounds like with Resonated pipes. Now go to the USA section at the top and listen to the NISMO exhaust for the diff. On that site for some reason all the JDM exhaust clips sound like they have resonated pipes so maybe that will help. They dont necessarily have test pipes, its just that the clips sound that way, where as the USA clips are barely audible. Hope you find it, good luck.
