Default Attention HKS TI Exhaust owners

I bought a used exhaust that has 2 missing gaskets. I am looking to buy 2 60mm exhaust gaskets (Midpipe to Mufflers). Please let me know.

Thanks

Do a stencil by taking a piece of paper and smashing it against the flange, if its used and dirty it will leave a print. Or you can trace the outline of the flange on a piece of paper and take either to your local auto parts....They can match it up with other make and models that have a similar gasket. Worked for my Tanabe exhaust...exact piece you needed, I think it was from a Toyota Corolla. Good luck.

Thanks for your helps guys. I was able to find a pair of gaskets in local muffler shop. The guy was real nice. He offer them to me for free. Why can't we have more and more mechanics out there like this.

I remember I bought a exhaust gasket for my old acura integra from other muffler shop. The freaken dude charged me 20 bucks for it. I just hated when people take advantages of others like that.

I just put the gaskets between Mid Pipe and Muffler which is the easiest section to reach. Still, it was the pain the in behind. I would not recommend people to do exhaust installation at home...jack the car up, craw under the car...pain pain pain.

Anyways, now i m confident that my hks exhaust doesn't have any leak.
Total Cost:
1)Used HKS Ti: $600
2)Installation: $50
3)Two missing gaskets from local muffler shop: $0
4)Having the confort of knowing there's no missing part on my exhaust, deep deep sound, shave 25 lbs of the car and maybe extra 5whp......PRICELESS

Why not? There's no better satisfaction (ok, maybe one other) than installing your one parts. I rate the installing the muffler a 1.5 in a scale of 1 to 5. I have installed three mufflers on my Z. It takes about 1/2 hour knowing you need WD-40, a long screw driver, jack stands, two different size sockets and some gloves....Well, I am glad your content! Sit back and enjoy your new music!
