Default cold air intake difference

I am going to put a cold air intake in my 04 350Z. Is there a difference between a non brand $20.00 cold air intake and a $250.00 brand name cold air intake.

Review members signatures. Count the number of $20 eBay intakes. Please let me know what you find.

Question CAI or Pop charger???

yeah I was wondering the same thing. Should I go witha a CAI or a pop charger? Which one? What brands? I hear good things about INJEN CAI and JWT pop chargers...the velocity argument makes sense...any other info?

Without being disrespectfull, , why would you put a 20 dollar intake on your Z? Would you not want to put on a product that has been engineered for your car?

JWT FTW!!! Not expensive easy install unless you are an over anxious, easily excited person like myself and brake one of your bolts in half (don't ask)!

Please consider using one of the site vendors as well. There are many to choose and you will get a great price. Using the site vendors helps make this site so great. Thanks for joining our wonderful family.

JWT popcharger is by far the most popular first mod on the Z. It makes a great "whining" noise at WOT (wide open throttle), is easy to install and clean, and is relatively cheap (around $125 or so).

You got a real nice car, why put on some cheap parts? Whatever you do go with the best possible part you can get, if you can't afford it, then wait and save for it.
