Anyways thanks for the reply guys. I might just go for the Popcharger. But I heard someone say it has a "whiny" sound and I'm wondering if they meant that annoying, misquito-like ricer hum like you hear on the s2000s, or anything stupidly riced like Civics, Accords, Neons, etc, etc.

Its not "whiny". Its just the sucking in of air you hear. It like a very low whistle.

I had a cold air intake on my old car (Mazda6) and it made a noticeable whistle sound under various loading conditions / throttle application. I thought it was sort of a neat sound. And am I the only one that notices a whistling noise from the stock air intake on the Z while accelerating? I'm not too concerned with the whistling noise, nor do I care much about 6.5 whp extra (although it is an added bonus). To me spending $110 on a pop charger will be well worth the auditory side effects alone.
