You obviously don't heart your Z since you are abusing it with poor aftermarket parts management.

welp, I didn't feel like ripping out my whole wheel liner thing because I was kinda short on time but I did end up just pretty much just making a short ram...the clamps were garbage but the adapter for the MAF fit perfectly and everything lined up...reset the ecu and the car is running like a champ, no cel and sounds like a beast too...i don't have a dyno at my disposal so i can't report any actual performance gains but it does feel like it pulls a little harder and is breathing a lot better. here's a couple quick pix, a video will be up shortly...

The best intake you can use is:

2004= 2006 air box
2005= 2006 air box
2006= 2006 air box
2007= Don't know/care
2008= Don't know/care

Default Ebay Intake

Hi all I'm looking to buy an intake but don't want to spend that much money on it. i know on eBay they have ones going for $35-$40. i want to get some opinions on these and do they actually give power? and is it more worth it to buy a more well known one? sorry if this a re-post. Also my 350z is a 2003

thanks guys

Why do you want an intake? These aren't your hand-me-down hondas... you will oftentimes lose HP with aftermarket intakes.

youre gona get search flamed.. hard.

that ebay intake looks like a JWT in the picture, and thata bout it.. JWT is much larger, the inside is totally different and theres an aluminum venturi on it too..

SEARCH.

ebay intake= sound and less low end torque, period.

No intake until you tune.. no tune til you search and just hang on to your $ a while.

That money would have been better spent on education.

no point wasting even 30 bucks on an ebay intake. It won't do anything, maybe even lose hp/torque(minimal). If you really want an intake, i don't know for what reason though, get a jwt or cai. Intake is pretty much just for the growl.

we can tell youre genuinely just asking.. but yeah, search the "stickies" at the top of forum sections.. theyre the threads that stay put so everyone can read them once.

i really like the sound they make, but from what your saying intake does not do anything for performance only sound?
