Default kinetix ssv manifold

i have been wanting to order the kinetix ssv manifold, but it was kind of pricey. i was just going to settle for the mrev2 because everyone has said it is better bang for your buck, but i like the look of the ssv manifold. so i am going to bite the bullet and order the manifold. my question is, does the ssv manifold produce good gains and is it better than the mrev2?
thanks
robert

im pretty sure NA they say that if you are lucky not to lose power. there hasnt been any proof from what I Remember of it making any power NA and i believe there are claims that it loses power NA.

i heard the kinetix ssv blows big time...they are suppose to make it for us FWD Vq35s...and the final release dynos dont look so well...i dont have it with me, but they are on altimas.net....it loses a good amount of low-mid...and only makes a few whp over stock...after 6k

here's the problem - i think in the last 2-3yrs, there has only been *1* N/A dyno with it, and it lost power.

i dont understand why it would not gain so much more than spacers and mrev2. it just looks alot less restrictive.

It gets points for looks but if you are just into Hp/Tq gains don't spend the extra $$$.

i am into both looks and performance. i just want to know if it gains at least as much as the spacers or the mrev2. if it is not less than them then i want it, but if it does have less gains then im not wasting my money.

that manifold might add some good gains for FI cars that has reached the limits of the stock intake manifold.

if you're N/A, spending $800+ for "bling" factor only. No HP gain.

^I agree, the performance factor is a must for me. Although if it does help when you are FI, i might be interested.

The funny thing is all you guys want to know what it does yet nobody will buy it and test it...keep complaining and you'll never really know....

I've got one going on my car in a week...it'll be tested and I'll know the results...i won't post the dyno, but I'll let you know what I gained or lost.

Then again, you'll all poke holes in it because my car is extremely modified...so I guess why bother...right?

thats like you guys saying go and buy my 1000 dollar headers and see if they do anything... they are nice and shiny. manufacturer should have done all the research and dynos to back up thier product. I mean if kinetix lets say... got a few people to bring thier cars out and dynod the plenum on thier cars and posted the dyno straight up wiht other people around then no one would have any doubts and I guarantee they would be selling atleast double what they are selling right now. I love the look but if its not gonna get me HP then im not about to drop all that money on something that looks pretty inside the engine bay.

I hope the Car your doing is NA, since that is the primary consumer. Even turbo, it'll settle some differences. Will you also ben tuning? It'd be awsome if ur tuning it cuz then we can see the delta non-tuned, VS tuned, because thats what REALLY matters (hoepfully the car was alredy tuned)
