I would assume it will produce the same (or similar) results as a spacer.

You don't necessarily need to get a reflash again but install the mods in sequence with a dyno in between. That will tell you if you need to get a reflash before the next mod or not.

And I can't predict where your A/F will go if you have a 287 engine tuned with a REVUP lower collector and then move to a MREV2... I havn't seen that combo before.

Install the MREV2 and get a dyno. You will probably be just fine but post your results here for review and analysis.

+1, Thats why i got the 5/16 first. MREV2 later on. Maybe i'll get the MREV2 if i see dyno's with reflashing the ECU makes good gains.

Yes. They have been recently posted by a couple different G35 guys.
Dyno plots included.

If your A/F ratio is in the 13's or lower, you can do the other mod. If your A/F is in the 14's or higher, get a reflash or engine management first.

Tony said that the best for the REVUP engine is both the spacer and MREV2. I am almost positive that there are dynos on here for the combination

Looks like we have not straightened out the MREV thing for the last time. And for many members we never will.

That's sux because I was ready to buy the Mrev2 + spacer but didnt get my questions fully answered either...even with the dyno plots (varies from car to car) no one can really answer this question: What are the gains/losses on the rev ups with this mod?

the gains will vary from car to car. Just like some cars baseline at 220's and others baseline 240's or higher

You also have to understand the fact that not all cars will respond the same to the same mods. Plus, only 120 something people have MREV2 and Tony just restocked them. So, mathematically, even less people have MREV2 for their revups. You will get more than enough dyno charts for revup with spacer and MREV2 or just one or the other soon.

Yea, just waiting for a clearer analysis of what the actual gains are...there were more explanations on the old mrev/mrev+ mods where dynos were more consistent- like what the actual gains are, where it lost power, etc...but on the mrev2...no one really has a clear analysis of the dynos (gains/loss)..if i'm going to invest $700... i would like to know what i'm getting/losing~

I'm going with the MREV+ cause I found it used for a good price, would the gains with the MREV2 be much better? (This is with the 5/16 spacer.. on revup)

I thought I answered this one.

Definitly do both together on a REVUP. The MREV2 makes more TQ and the spacer makes more HP.

For specific details on what it does to the power curve, there are independant dyno plots posted by members here on MY350Z and on G35Driver.

As a general idea of what it will do, you can see the MREV+ dynos posted on our website. MREV2 with a spacer is everything MREV+ was, but MREV2 has even more machining. There are also recent dyno plots of people who switched from MREV+ to MREV 2 and showed significant gains.

Tony

OK......Tony, if you had to pick between one of your products as your first mod for an 06MT rev up Z, which one would it be?? mrev2 OR spacer???
I dont want you to think that i am doubting your products or anything of that nature. Im just curious as to which one would you purchase first. Thanks

G

If only one, definitly the MREV2. It will make very significant TQ gains.

A spacer by itself (on a REVUP) will do little or nothing.

Sorry if I wasn't clear the first time.
