nismo or borla. i have borla with kinetix hfc and it sounds great, not too loud and not to quiet. just perfect. btw if you are not going with hfc or test resonated pipes borla is really quiet. (btw dont do non resonated cats sounds REALLY RASPY)

Quality and Sound I would have to say Nismo, for best performance probably Stillen, although there quality is not the greatest, at least from a visual standpoint..

if you dont plan on getting some HFCs or TPs then I say stillen. Mine is quite loud. Sounds like a Z on roids.

my vote for HKS. The price is the same range with Stillen. Don't get Borla. It will gives you headache later on (due to too many connection) I had it before so i know.

Get HKS. Price is more affordable now.

I recommend that you

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration you want. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers. Y-pipe?
c. Shop for catback exhaust systems which meets your budget and selection criteria.
d. Pick your favorite.

I was making the same decision about 2 weeks ago. Make sure you listen to the sounds clips for each one as well. I chose Borla for overall sound and performance and love it. Installed it myself one night in my garage, bolts together real well. Anyone with common sense should have no problem with the different pieces.

There are so many choices out there, you want to make sure you make the right choice, The NISMO exhaust is never a bad choice, a cat back exhaust undero $1,000. Some of the TD exhaust will be more expensive and other exhausts that consists of y-pipes will not actually include a y-pipe and will have to be purchased seperately.

Thumbs up nismo exhaust

I have the nismo exhaust, and it sounds solid. If I want to drive it quietly it has a low but not at all cheesy tone to it. Now when I push the car, it roars like a lion. I love reving the engine when driving underneath an underpass....

I used the Stillen until it became a power limiter and I had to go to a bigger exhaust. Loved the sound and the quality was first-rate. Side by side, I actually thought the Borla sounded a little louder at idle. I agree with Bubble. I didn't go with the Borla because there were so many more pieces and potential for leaks.
Watch the forums for people selling them. I think I sold my Stillen for $600 and a friend bought a Borla with a missing hanger for around $200!
