FYI Raceboy, i spoke to a representitive from Borla on the phone a couple of months ago (yes they had developed the exhaust for the 350z back then, and, were at that time about a month or two from being released to the public), anyway, he told me that they could not get any increase in hp. they tried with their engineers, but, could not, because they said it was very well designed. from what he told me this was going to be the version to be sold to the public. he did not say they were going to improve it, or tinker with it (but, perhaps they did improve it). he just said it was going to be a little bit louder than the stock.

we'll see in the future if they were able to get any hp or tq out of it....just passing some info..

let us know anything new

Gerardo

Thanks!

yes, good idea..if you can.

Question

What EXACTLY are all the "accurate" stats on the BORLA for the 350Z?
hp?
torque?
weight?
configuration?

Before I shell out $700 it is too much to ask to see it (not even in person, just a pic!?)??
Easily, use the same people who buy a 350Z before it hits the streets.

Hey, what about a locals discount ? Is the car at your shop? I would like to stop by and listen to it.

Bottle,
Just wanted to tell you thanks for getting me the borla system so quick. It does sound goooood. I've had mine on since Friday. What I found was it is very quiet for about 2 - 3 hours of driving and then starts to get a nice tone. At idle it has a nice mellow sound and the more you get into it the better it sounds. It isn't a real loud system but it does sound gooooood. I wish I had some equipment to record it.

I cant wait till someone gets a chance to record it. Borla has always been a top notch company in my book, and i'd really like to hear this exhaust. I dont care about hp and tq numbers as much as the sound. I figure i can always add hp and tq later, but the sound is what everyone notices.

I am pretty sure that was a BS post. I got a message back from a Borla rep saying that he had no such info and that no such part # was available.
