I never said they were the same, i just stated most drone complaints are from sedan owners. I have friends with both G35 sedan and G35c with stillen exhausts and I was just stating what i have experienced. If you guys believe that much about the loudness of stillen exhausts, post some threads about Z owners complaining. I'm sure that the Z owner would appreciate that much more and make you guys look more professional.

Agreed - it is important for everyone to note cars and versions of the exhaust they are referring to, though my sig is pretty obvious to my car choice

Fast Intentions has built and sold a load of these exausts - almost exclusively to G35 customers - and the system was originally designed for Z's - it's pretty ironic that the owners come from a Z/Audi background in their builds - continue their support for the Z family - and Z drivers haven't really shown up for the product yet.

It's OK though...more and more Z's are now buying them and that's why the new sale is in place. We're here for the community - bottom line.

Stillen exhaust is fine. Who cares about numbers you are not going to break the sound barrier with any exhaust. It is not loud but it is deep. I have it on my z with RT cats and its sounds perfect. As many problems I have had with Stillen service there is nothing bad I can say about thier products.

If you desire another exhuast then purchase it. If you own it and did not like it, then you should of done more homework before you spent your money.

Look - bashing other products is not professional - so we would never do that. Anyone can search for posts about drone and loudness of many of the exhausts out there. Yes I know, I did kind of bash the Stillen system - from personal experience and other's on these boards though, are my points of reference - you'll note, I did not market the Fast Intentions exhaust when doing so, and did not make that the reason for doing so.

A large part of the R&D was combing the boards for what people liked and disliked about the major and minor systems out there. From sound to design, to look and tone, etc. When I have said certain systems sound certain ways, or perform certain ways, it is because of either my specific R&D or feedback from the boards.

It's not that they are flooding the boards with ads - its that they are bringing more products to market for you all to choose from, instead of the same old stuff from the past 3 years.

We should actually applaud the efforts of a new company willing to work for you and your best interests in the end. Remember - I don't work for Fast Intentions and am really happy to see new things come out pretty regularly that are different and better than what is and has been available.

Cutting edge is good in this case...Rick
Thank you for the clarification. It is always a pleasure to see a broader product range available for our cars. I commend fast intentions and their R&D and production. Its undeniable though that... you guys are everywhere! Btw... How heavy is your exhaust?

The Intimidator Stainless system is about 3 lbs lighter than stock - and a TRUE dual.

If you add resonated testpipes or our high flow cats - you'll save up to another 18lbs from the factory CAT removal as well.

Default Exhaust

I just dont' want a exhaust that is so loud that it rattles the windows off the car. Just something that sounds nice when going down the road and one that you can hear when you can get on it. We have a nismo cat back at the shop and don't know if I want the nismo or another brand.

The best thing you can do is go to a meet and sit in cars and hear the different systems..everyone has their own opinion and tolerance for drone and volume levels...

The exhaust is definitely not loud at all, I would say it is among the quietest exhausts I have heard for the Z. I just installed one with a friend on his Z, here is a sound clip and I think it does a decent job of capturing the sound. It is in no way excessively loud or raspy and there is very little to no drone.
