Default Hks vs. Amuse

Now we know that the amuse is more expensive but what would you get and why. just wondering whether to get the hks now or wait a few weeks and get the amuse. hmmmm.

amuse.. looks better, sound about the same, is much lighter, wont rasp w/ test pipes and has baller recognition. But if i had to choose out of ALL exhausts, neither. I'd do custom like i did mine. It came out fantastic, albeit a little loud.

well hks is a true dual exhaust , you'll get much better flow. for the look i'd say about 50/50

"you wont get any better flow with a true dual" - as has been posted, this is not true. A Y pipe + catback and a true dual, on an NA car are completely comparable to one another

both are awesome but have different customers in mind

My Amuse and JIC Bullet Y-Pipe shed exactly 30.0lbs from the car. The combination makes more power than OEM, and sounds absolutely perfect. Everyone that has seen it thinks it's the best exhaust they have ever seen. Other than that, can't say anything good about it. This where I posted some pics when I first installed it. Six months later, it looks and sounds EXACTLY the same.

i like the look of HKS the most, so....that's what i get. I compared it to all the available exhaust out there before i buy it, and never look back

everything titanium is way overpriced...because the raw materials are super expensive and the time/effort required to weld it is significant and very specialized

The amuse is great for "wow" factor, but I dont like the design. I think the HKS or greddy titanium are nicer exhausts.

there you go.

unless you have alot of other things done to the car, i wouldnt recommend having an Amuse on the car(baller on a budget syndrome).

I've actually heard a sound clip on this. Daaaaaaaaaaamn. Sad thing is no one stocks it anywhere. I'm such an impulse buyer I would own one right now if I found one. I don't like waiting 2/3 months.

no one would stock it because its a $2800 exhaust...not the type of thing that flies off the shelf

The last time we had one, it sat for 4 months; same goed for Fujitsubo Ti (which we still have last I checked) and ARC
