The welds are decent, not as good as lets say Amuse, but they pass my inspection. I like the design of it but wish it was reversed as the bottom is flat and the top is sweet looking. I might contact the seller and suggest that, but overall the finish is beautiful and it's noticeably light. It is also designed to connect to the stock mid-pipe which is good if your on a budget. Like I said give me a week or so and I'll get some pics. with the car on the lift installed and hopefully some sound clips to follow shortly afterwards. David.

Ok so I'll finish up this thread by saying there will be no sound clips and you all have seen the muffler on ebay so prob. no pics. I installed it last nite and yes it looks ok but it does'nt jump out at you but then again what exhaust really does being tucked up under there, anyway I cound'nt wait to fire that biouch up, ---------------it's the quietest f**king muffler I've ever heard in my life. I believe it's quieter than stock. I drove around awhile and actually heard noises in my car I've never heard before, of course I'm used to my nismo growl. I believe a sound clip would be next to impossible at this point. Anyway to sum it up the burnt tips are bling and the muffler is pretty so if your on a budget this may be your route but if you want the true 350 growl then this is not the muffler for you. And yes the Nismo will be back on tonite.

Ofcoures its going to be quiet. You can run stock midpipe and y pipe w.o a muffler, and its STILL quiet. (i've heard it on SBT's car). It REALLY becomes louder after u change the midpipe and Y pipe out, and the test pipe sets it off.

Hmm, thats a thought, the only reason I used the stock mid was thats what it's designed to connect to. I am using my nismo Y so maybe I'll remove the resonator.

Sounds like a good exhaust to start with if you are interested in a reasonable noise level. Mods such as headers and test pipes will only add more noise.
