$2300.

You'll gain 20-24 rwhp with the full system (rear part and Y-pipe).

The rear oart removes the cats, so there is unknown regarding the 02 sensors.

I meant the front part before the y-pipe.

20-24 rwhp sounds alot high for an exhaust on this car. I would definately want to see before and after dynos for that. Same dyno, same conditions.

I did see the dyno that they did, but I want to see #'s from the consumers on that.

Zrated,

Keep in mind, the system removes the cats. That is probably where they got a lot of their gains.

We sell this exhaust system. The gain is around 11HP with no other modifications to a stock vehicle.

Turbo kits are currently unavailable. Even when they do appear, you would be best to have an exhaust already installed in order to receive the gains from the turbo. If you do not have a good exhaust system, you will not receive the full benefits from the turbo kit that you will spend upwards of $7500.00 for.

You also are forgetting the gains from the reduction of weight you get from titanium exhaust systems. The Amuse weighs only 8.7kgs! Compare that to the 32kgs of the factory system. Not only will the power to weight ratio help with acceleration and gas mileage, but will also lower momentum allowing quicker braking (i.e. shorter braking distance) and better handling due to less centrifugul force. When all of this is taken into account, more consideration should be given to this excellent exhaust system for the Z.

The 21 HP figure is in fact with the y-pipe installed which does remove the cats. The y-pipe was made only for testing purposes and is not available at this time. Apart from removing the cats, it also makes the car run very lean. Until fuel management is available, the y-pipe will not be available for sale. The dyno charts you saw are legit.

The system is offered with the rear section and the rear pipe, just not the y-pipe. We are an authorized Amuse dealer and offer the system for $2250 delivered to any continental US address. The Top Secret y-pipe is however available and is compatible with the cats. For additional information, contact Monkey Man or myself, or visit one of our websites.

BTW, one of my customers (and friend) Mark Vlaskis, who some of you may know better as chief engineer at Brembo, has the Amuse exhaust on his personal car. He is very, very happy with it. I just spoke to him today about it. I'm sure he would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of an exhaust upgrade. This is from a person who has built many incredible cars. Also, I have another customer who should be receiving his Amuse very shortly, and I believe he is planning a before and after dyno run. If so, I will post the dyno run on the website.

If this is true I am sure you can spend $700 to $800 on the Borla or Band B and connect either one of those and get the same results. There may be a weight savings with titanium but come on $2300, is alot of money!
I like blowing money on my car, but come on! for this amount you can buy so much more! I just hate to see fellow Z fans get ripped off. Let these manufacturers know that they are over-charging! Buy a Stillen A Borla or a BB Or some exhaust under $1500. Remember... 1 Titan = like %8 of the car price!!!!

You can get the Amuse R1 Exhaust for 2400 dollars and gain 12 Horsepower and 8.5 Lbs of Torque without the Y Pipe.

http://i-m-racing.com/hkstitdualex.html

Or you could pay half... 1200 dollars for the Stillen Exhaust that adds 13 Horsepower and 14 lbs of Torque w/o the Y Pipe.
Take your pick

http://i-m-racing.com/stilstainste.html

It's a no brainer to me...Im waiting on Stillen to release there exhaust for the G35 Sports Coupe.

Holy Crap, the Dyno of the 350Z with the Amuse R1 exhaust says the 350Z is making 278 (282 PS) RWHP @ 6000RPM!! I doubt that 350Z only has an exhaust as a mod.

I guess it just depends on your priorities, if you just want to be able to say "my exhaust made 11hp" then why not get the Stillen, it's cheaper, and for good reason.

If you actually are concerned with performance and have money to spend, the Amuse is tough to beat. Consider that the Stillen exhaust INCREASES the weight of the exhaust by 25 lbs, while the Amuse is 30 lbs LIGHTER than stock. So that's already 55 lbs ahead of those with the Stillen exhaust. Then when I do a y-pipe I'll save even more weight and make even more power.

As the saying goes, speed costs, how fast do you want to go?

I chose this exhaust not only for the power potential but also for the weight savings, which is very dear to me. Thus far, I've been able to take out over 140 lbs out of the car without sacrificing comfort (i.e. stripping interior, removing A/C, etc).
