Question Smelly Exhaust

I installed gutted cats, and now my exhaust smells really bad.
I have to drive with my windows closed.
I double checked installation and could not find any exhaust leak.

But it smells really bad in the cabin at idle with window open.

Anybody had an issue with this?

hmmm....
I hope you guys are right.

It was smoking somewhat at 1st, but that was the oil burning off.
How long do you think before the smells goes away?
I cant enjoy the deep sound with the windows closed.

lol

well, black smoke comes out when you rev right? and it smells real strong right? you shouldnt worry thats what happens when you have no cats, there is nothing there to filter you exaust.

Cars without cat convertors stink.

That is normal.

Actualy, my mechanic ran a test and he said i will still pass the inspection.

I would not be 100% sure about it.

I hate driving with windows closed.
