Does Fujitsubo have anything to do with the Nismo exhaust?

They both sound a lot alike to me

i read some where that they are the same and that fuji makes the nismo... i think

They are related. Fujitsubo is the biggest exhaust maker in Japan. Their exhaust for the Z is part of Fujitsubo's Legalis-R line.

The Nismo exhaust is actually developed by Fujitsubo, so it is very similar to the Fujitsubo Legalis-R. Both maintain a stock-ish sound, however, the two exhausts are different in tone/depth. The Nismo has a crisper tone, where-as the Fujitsubo is mellower. The Nismo is higher-pitched, where-as the Fujitsubo is deeper.

And just as an FYI, the stock exhaust is made by Calsonic.

wow...i didn't know Calsonic made our stock exhaust. I always thought it was made by fujitsubo.

Yeah, Fuji Stainless and Nismo are almost the same exact thing. Nismo is a little more aggressive sounding.
