how the #$@#$#@$ do you install the heat shield?

im working on this right now and cannot figure it out. the directions are not much of a help...

or did you just leave it off?

unbolt the two bolts on the stock heat shield above the exhaust manifold. place the injen shield so the holes line up (they do) and reinstall the bolts. The back bolt is a bit of a pain, but use patience young grasshopper.

Just keep repeating in your head "it's only a friggin intake! it's only a friggin intake! it's only a friggin intake! it's only a friggin intake!"

Yeah i know what you mean. It reminded me to a smaller scale of when I did the downpipes on my S4. Holy crap what a pain in the ***!! Just barely enough room to get a wrench up there and then you can move it about a half inch. You know what it's like trying to untorque a nut that is fused to the turbo??!!

I did my entire install, and realized that I hadn't done the heat shield...bummer! It took an extra 30 minutes to install.
