Default hood hitting manifold.

i installed my spacers (skunk2) an took out the OEM strut bar since it didnt fit. A week after i installed it i opened my hood for the hell of it an noticed 2 scratch/rub marks on the sides of the manifold an the bottom of my hood.(since they have been rubbing) was wondering hoow i could fix it or what you guys (with experience) have done. thanks

Sand down the top of the plenum?
Put some felt pads on the hood?
Take off the Skunk2 and get a spacer that fits?

At one time Motordyne sold a kit to space the hood up a bit in the back for people that wanted to run a 1/2" spacer and a strut bar. The downside is everyone and their mother will tell you your hood is open.

Not too many options here.

Go with a motordyne 5/16" ... retain your stock strut bar and no rubbing.

I have the same spacer, I've just let mine rub and am going to get a strut bar that will work with it.
