very nice guys.. I have the A tail Amuse (i think the only difference is the tips) ..it does take FOREVER to come from japan.. it sounds totally awesome if you are NA.. but with FI.. it sounds rather high pitched.. a little like an F1 car sometimes and a tad bit "ricey" but I like it a lot..

The whole exhaust does turn a little bit yellow/gold over time with the under piping turning a nice rainbow color.. but that's just normal for titanium..

Very nice pic u have there leemik...
Is there a way to not let the exhaust turning gold/ yellow... Is there anything u can do to keep the exhaust as shiny and clean? Or it'll just turn yellow/gold over time and there's nothing we can do about it?

nothing you can do about it.. the heat makes it turn that color.. i also notice that's it's more gold on some days and some days not.. probably all having to do with temperature..

There was a company here somewhere that had an Amuse off a wrecked Z that was a little damaged and since my diffuser will completely cover it it should'nt matter. Does anyone remember who that was? Thanks for any help.

Nitric acid followed by a quick rinse will clean that metal off nicely for a bright and clean bling.

Not easy to come by... and not exactly safe to work with.

But it will clean it.

Nitric acid... Isnt that corrosive to our skin? But thanks for the info...

So, leemik... are you saying that when its cooled it'll turn back to its original state... "bling" and when its hot.. it'll turn towards goldish..??

I'm not sure actually.. haven't really cared enough to see if it is less gold when cooled down.. i just notice that on some days it's less gold than others... but overall it's more gold than when i first got it.. It took about a year to start looking gold tho (8k miles/year).. I've had the exhaust for 2 years now.. I have a Ti shift **** too and some days I notice it's more blue than purple on the burnt top... titanum is just a wierd metal

I've seen a Subaru guy purposely spray his non-titanium exhaust down with WD40 because he told me the burnt WD40 gives him a gold Ti like tone when heated up... ricer... lol..
