In california... No question do the DC SPorts Headers... They are CARB Legal... Much easier to swap out your test pipes then your non-carb legal headers...

Only the DC SPorts Headers are CARB Legal... (STREET LEGAL)

Come Emissions testing time, you will not pass with any other headers... you wont pass with test pipes... keep your stock cats.. they are $1200 each new...

I am have a strong dislike for headers on the Z. While they are not extremely high priced, you will pay up the a$$ to have them installed. If you take 350V's number on the cost then add ~700 for the install, youre at almost $1500. Not worth the gains IMO.

Damn...$700.00 for an install Cali has some high prices,, I had my headers and cats installed at the same time for $400.00 and he ran it on the dyno at no charge,,, very reputable place here on L.I. and they did a great job ! Unless you are going with Crawford headers, I can not see it costing that much..Wow

It's not the header, it's the battery of tests the manufacturer has to do to get the CARB clearance. We all know any header is not going to emit any more emissions than the stock manifold, but CARB wants the $$$ from manufacturers before it gives them their blessing.

BTW, since the headers are so hard to see, I don't believe most inspectors will notice them.

i would get a clutch flywheel set up better than headers.... or if you got the cash both. as far as i know crawfords are the best out there but are a biatch to install, expensive and i dont know about all that emissions crap since they dont do it in my town... btw you have a good amount of NA stuff, after the headers tune it dyno it and post some numbers...
