Finally able to see the pic at home... Looks promising; Id like to see dynos. It'd have to have some pretty damn impressive gains to warrant the copst that it'll probably fetch over a simple, yet effective spacer or Crawford plenum.

A few comments:
-Throttle body is kept in stock location.

-Whole unit looks comparably sized to stock or slightly larger and should fit stock strut bar and hood just fine. It LOOKS huge b/c of the way we're seeing it and b/c we're used to just replacing the upper plenum; this unit replaces the entire upper/lower plenum assembly.

-Intake path is only longer if you want it to be. Looks like it can be set up as CAI or short ram.

Sometimes you people crack me up.

It's a Cosworth product! We should all just be happy they like the Z enough to want to waste thier time to make it better. This isn't some "Mom and Pop" shop we're talking about here. It's Cosworth!

Whatever parts that decide to make for the Z will be well worth it's weight in gold. And WORK like it is!

I betting this intake manifold will really be utilized over 6600 rpm where the stock intake seems to be the restriction. This would help utilize big cams like those from Crawford.

You bet after only seeing a photo huh?

We'll I bet it's nothing more than a paper weight until it goes into prodution and we get more data on it. As far as anyone knows (including you) the new plenum only functions with Cosworth cam and flux capacitor(SP?) upgrades over 88mph.

But I'll take your bet anyway just because you like putting youself out there.

You know about the same as everyone else... Nothing.

We know what it looks like

But yeah, everyone likes to play the guessing game when it comes to new products until it is dynoed.

Your right...can't tell just from a pic and I know about the same as everyone else including you. For all we know its strictly for FI. Everyone knows the stock intake manifold is plenty good and flows enough air to make a billion horsepower.

cosworth is making NA parts, so I doubt thier plenum is for FI..

and FyI... the SSV only claims that because it doesn't make power at all and it's an excuse. (just wanted to throw that in there)

Cosworth has deep racing/performance roots so I have high hopes for this bad boy!

most intake/exhaust mods make power late in teh RPM band anyway. Im not sure how this one will stack up vs a 300 dollar mod that can make 15rwhp easy (motordyne)
It sure does look nice, functional and its made by Cosworth, which is always a good sign. To me it looks like a high reving style manifold, especially with the short intake piping

I really enjoy looking at new designs for intake manifolds because frankly that is one design aspect that hasn't changed for the Z.

The cosworth manifold looks promising but the pricetag might push most customers away.
