Default Does my ECU need time to adjust to new exhaust?

I just installed a stillen true dual exhaust and I wasn't expecting anything huge but I actually felt like the car was either exactly the same or possibly even lost a little and not just at the bottom. I've read that for some mods the ecu has to get used to them before you see the gains. Is this true with the exhaust as well? Or could something else be wrong?

You should reset your ECU, with a reset it will take about 50 miles of driving to re-adjust itself. Without the reset - 200 miles or so for it to complete.
