Default SES at 1,600 miles w/ test pipes+anti-foulers

i was driving home this morning from work and at the corner of my eye i see the SES light turn on. its been 1,600 miles since i installed the pipes and anti-foulers and my car has 11,509 miles on it. could this be the test pipes or something else?

It may be something else. Have someone with a code scanner check it out

It seems unlikely that it would be the test pipes after that many miles... when I had my Helix TP's on my car, I was lucky to get 25 miles down the road before the SES light came on and I'd have to reset it.

Why is it everyone still asked about SES lights and what they might be when it only costs $50.00 to buy a code reader? I mean hell, that is only a fill up at the gas station.

Get the code read to be sure. However, it could very well be the test pipes. It came on after 600 miles on my Spec-V; i pulled the O2 sensor, cleaned it, and never came on again (before I sold it).

It could also be something as simple as an exhaust leak.

Sometimes air gets pulled into the exhaust flow duing the scavenge phase of the exhaust pulse. When air gets in, it will register on the sensors (and ECU) as a excessively lean condition even though your engine may be running fine.

Check for leaks.
